Unveiling A New Universe: 4 Reasons I Am Excited for Epic Universe

This is EPIC

Epic Universe is Universal Studios newest theme park coming summer of 2025.

This new park will cost an estimated $550 million dollars to build and is in year 5 of construction. Rumors state that the theme will be “You Gotta See This” and there will be an exhibit/information hub at City Walk to help build the hype for the new park.

Epic Universe has me on the edge of my seat in anticipation. I watch weekly update videos from Theme Park top on YouTube to keep up to date with all the progress and keep up with all the new rumors.

Below are my top 4 reasons why I am excited for this new park:

1) It’s a whole new world!

With 4 new and exciting lands to explore PLUS a central hub that is a world by itself. Super Mario World with the Donkey Kong expansion, Universal Classic Monsters, How to train your Dragon, Wizarding World Fantastic Beasts, and the Central Hub tentatively named Celestial Gardens.

Each land will have multiple rides, food locations, and be separated from each other by “portals” that allow you to feel like you are being transported to another land.

2) THE FOOD!!!

With all the new lands and 3 new hotels there is going to be a ton of new food to try. If speculations do come true every new land will have a full-service restaurant and one or two quick-service restaurants.

With the new lands theme food is going to be at the forefront and with the new IP’s to work with I can only imagine the creative minds churning out ideas.

Universal shines with food and beverage so I am expecting nothing but yummy new foods.

3) New Theme Park Adjacent Hotel

I have always loved when hotels are connected to theme parks.

Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disney Sea are two of the hotels that offer a hotel experience right in the middle of the action.

The tentatively named “Grand Helios” hotel will offer you that experience state side as it is attached to Epic Universe.

I am a big fan of staying on property or as close to the theme parks as possible so that a midday nap is less of an inconvenience.

This hotel will allow that and with the rumored shows and fireworks getting a theme park view room may be well worth the upgrade.

4) It’s All Brand New!

Central Florida is to me the theme park capital of the US.

The problem with that is there is limited space to expand (unless your Disney). Having a brand-new park with all new IP’s is going to be amazing.

I love the feeling of being transported to a new land, learning all the secrets, and riding all the new rides.

Are you as excited for the new Universal Gate as we are?!
