Tiff
Greeting fellow traveler!!
My name is Tiffany and I make up 1/3rd of We Gon’ Eat and Travel.
I currently reside in Michigan and am the proud mother of a 2023 senior. Growing up in the 80’s and 90’s I feel that I was spoon fed Disney. I woke up to their cartoons, went to see every new movie, watching TV shows when I came home and dreaming of going to Disneyworld for every vacation. I used to order the Disney vacation VCR tapes and then DVD’s every time a commercial came on and watch them like they were movies. Donald Duck is my favorite of the Fab 5, I cry when I see parades, and enjoy eating!
Due to fear and not having the knowledge I didn’t start traveling to Disney as an adult or a mom until I was in my 30’s. After researching and really learning Disney I am now confident in my ability to travel and not break the bank.
My focus for this blog is reviewing your hotel options and helping you save money when you visit any of the Disney Parks.
We as a team want you to know that YOU CAN TRAVEL TO DISNEY! It just takes planning, dedication, and a tiny bit of pixie dust to make it happen.
Shi
Hi everyone!
I go by Shi and I am the other half of this blog space and a second 1/3rd of the We Gon' Eat and Travel family (which is an odd bit of math, but I'm sure it makes sense).
Like Tiffany I am a mom, an elder millennial (baby GenX'er, Xennial, old person, etc..) who grew up on a steady diet of banger Disney shows and movies in the 80s through 90s. While I don't consider myself to be a Disney adult, I have been enjoying my time as an adult traveling to Disney World and learning a LOT about what it takes to do so successfully.
My hope for this platform is to work hard to bring up the information that is good to know for people like us. We both have full time jobs, families and while I would love for travel to be *the* job, right now it's just something that I enjoy doing and want to do well. We've all been on the super stressful too expensive family vacation where nothing goes right and I never want any of us to be there again.
