Welcome and thank you for visiting our travel blog!

One very important distinction that we would like to make about this blog, and you may see repeated in our posts, is that we do not live in Orlando. We do not live anywhere near Florida, California, any coasts, islands or other typical vacation destinations.

Being based out of Southeastern Michigan, when we visit Disney World, Disneyland or any other location we are doing so like most of everyone else out there, as tourists. This is the perspective that we plan on focusing on throughout our journeys.

We've noticed that a lot of travel bloggers, youtubers and the like are typically from a place that is central to the travel industry or are a large enough enterprise that they have contributors or other staff who can write from those areas. As a consequence their writing reflects that.

Not to diminish their amazing talents and the resources they provide that we also utilize. They are amazing for getting up to date information on changes in these areas and little known facts about destinations to visit, but there can be other experiences that can be left out or unanswered if a Disney trip is only a 15-minute drive versus a 2.5 hour flight.

So our focus for this blog is to concentrate on our experiences navigating, planning and traveling both to our destinations and also on our way back home. We hope that this space will be a place for us to give our honest reviews of food, travel and accommodations that we experience.

While our opinions may be our own, we hope our experiences are relevant for anyone looking for more information about various destinations like we were.
